Memphis memories relived: Posing with Lance Russell, Dave Brown and Jerry Jarrett prior to our Memphis roundtable in Charlotte.

It was just like old times. As part of the NWA Wrestling Legends Fanfest in Charlotte on Saturday morning, Aug. 8, I was honored to join Memphis legends Lance Russell, Dave Brown and Jerry Jarrett for a 90-minute discussion of the greatest stars, programs and angles that made the territory the most entertaining in the country throughout the 1970s and early 80s. I I am assuming a DVD of the Memphis Wrestling Roundtable will be available at some point since Highspots.com taped it. In the meantime, I will have highlights from our talk posted later this week. Special thanks to Lance, Dave and Jerry for their participation; gentlemen, it was indeed a pleasure.  I think I can speak for us all when I say we had a blast.

  2. I”m sad that I live less than 2 hours from Charlotte, but I was forced to miss this due to funds. I don”t know if I”ll ever get another chance to meet the Memphis legends, including yourself.

I”ll definitely get the DVD though, so I can sit back and watch the memories.
