My idea of fun for the whole family
Doink the Clown (Matt Borne) would have been a great spokesperson for this fine establishment, located in North Hollywood. (Is that Sgt. Slaughter’s camouflaged Buick Electra parked out front?) As my buddy John Keating says, ” Clowns and booze-the way God intended!
Sadly, this is about the only way my grandfather would have taken me to the circus. (I kid, I kid.)

hey that is a San Fernando Valley landmark (used to buy pot down the street and it always easy to tell I was getting close with the big clown there)

He’s not angry, he’s just drunk!
I believe I met that clown at Burning Man, circa 1999.
He embodies every reason why some people might be afraid of clowns—LOL!
